Emagine Entertainment, Inc. is constructing a first class movie theatre and upscale boutique bowling venue on the northwest corner of Eleven Mile Rd. and Troy Street on the site of the Main North complex. The approximately 73,000 square foot two-level entertainment facility is projected to cost approximately $14,000,000. Opening of the facility is targeted for fall 2010. The facility is eventually expected to serve in excess of 500,000 patrons per year between filmed entertainment and bowling, thereby creating tremendous synergy with downtown bars and restaurants. Historically, theatres like Emagine are a sought-after component in an entertainment district like downtown Royal Oak and lifestyle centers because they generate traffic that will patronize the other neighboring businesses. Just as it does at its other locations, Emagine is committed to working with Royal Oak’s neighboring restaurants to offer its guests a combination “dinner and a movie” package at an excellent value to consumers.

ABOUT THE EMAGINE ROYAL OAK THEATRE

The theatre will consist of approximately 1,700 seats, comprised of 10 screens in a stadium seating arrangement with comfortable chairs and row spacing that is much wider than industry standards. All 10 auditoriums will include luxury-seating sections with the convenience of reserved seating. All auditoriums will be equipped with state-of-the-art digital projection. Patrons will be able to enjoy their favorite cocktail, beer and wine along with freshly popped popcorn and other quality concession items. Convenient parking is available in the on-site 400 space parking structure as well as on site surface parking.
