Emagine Plans $3M Novi Revamp for Early 2017
Emagine has big plans for the new year, as it announced a $3M renovation to transform its aging Novi location into a state-of-the-art movie complex. The chain operates nine luxury theaters in Michigan as well as eight new locations in Minnesota, and opened its Novi site at Fountain Walk in 2002.
In January, Emagine will break ground on Novi’s extensive facelift, which gives the 18-room building a new lobby and an expanded bar and concession area. Power-reclining chairs will replace the existing stadium seating and the theater’s interior and exterior design schemes will be upgraded. CEO Paul Glantz also hopes the renovation will create in the largest screen in Michigan, spanning a double-sized auditorium and employing laser projector technology. Construction is scheduled through May 2017, though Emagine Novi will remain open for business as work is completed. Get the full scoop at Mlive.com!
