Royal Starr Film Festival Highlights Michigan’s Film Scene

The annual Royal Starr Film Festival proved to be another success this past weekend. The free event was hosted at Emagine Royal Oak, and its purpose was to educate and entertain guests in the art of film.

Nearly half of the 111 films shown had Michigan connections demonstrating that the Michigan film scene is still doing well independent of incentives.

The festival was organized by the nonprofit Royal Starr Arts Institute in partnership with Emagine Entertainment.
