Star Wars: The Force Awakens – Fans Turn Out for Debut at Emagine
Fans flocked to Emagine on December 17th, opening night of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, many dressed in full costume!
The Emagine Novi dedicated fourteen of its eighteen screens to “The Force Awakens,” the J.J. Abrams continuation of the franchise that George Lucas built.
Crowds had gathered 90 minutes before the first 7 p.m. shows, with seven group events being held by businesses and community organizations. All the 7 p.m. shows were sold out, according to the Emagine staff, and subsequent times were filling up quickly.
Emagine donated tickets to some of the event groups, after receipt of more than 5,000 nonperishable food items and 400 toys for those in need.
