Emagine Entertainment, Inc., one of the nation’s leading innovators in motion picture exhibition, will be serving handcrafted Michigan beers from Brew Detroit in all of their Michigan theater locations. Brew Detroit, located in Detroit’s oldest neighborhood of Corktown, began brewing in September of 2012 and installed its BrewHouse and canning and bottling lines in 2013. Emagine locations in Michigan will be pouring guests Brew Detroit’s Cerveza Delray, Yumtown, and Cold Brew Detroit Coffee Stout.
Over the last three years, Brew Detroit has produced numerous beers, several of which have won awards both locally and nationally. In 2018 the Cerveza Delray won a bronze medal at the 2018 Great American Beer Festival in the International-style Pilsener category. The Detroit Free Press named Brew Detroit’s Depth Burbon Barrel-aged Imperial Stout as one of the Top-10 beers of 2020 and the Rice Dreams Rice Lager was namedas one of the Top-12 beers of 2021 by the Detroit Free Press.
Beers On-Tap at Michigan Emagine Locations
Cerveza Delray – Mexican-style lager is clean, crisp and easy drinking. Pilsner, Vienna and Munich malt are used in the brewing process. Munich malt adds a touch of sweetness and complexity while compliments the cascade hops.
Yumtown – Fruited Lager is a easy drinking light lager base with added notes of tart cherries and key lime for a pleasant sweetness that makes this a perfect summertime brew.
Cold Brew Detroit – A dark and malty BBA Imperial Coffee Stout
