As part of this collaboration, Emagine Entertainment will relocate its corporate headquarters to the Walsh College campus in Troy.
(TROY, MI – December 1, 2022) Emagine Entertainment, Inc., an innovator in luxury theaters and Walsh College, a top nationally and internationally ranked business and technology college, announce a collaborative partnership that exemplifies the best of business and higher education.
In January 2023, Emagine Entertainment, Inc., will relocate its corporate headquarters to the second floor of Walsh College at 3838 Livernois Road in Troy, Michigan.
“We are beyond excited to welcome Emagine Entertainment to our campus. Throughout its 100 year history, Walsh College has always embodied an entrepreneurial spirit. Having Emagine, a nationally ranked theater chain part of our campus community, unlocks even more entrepreneurial opportunities for our students and our college. Together, we are creating a future-ready learning organization that benefits both industry and education,” said Suzy Siegle, Walsh College’s President and CEO.
In addition to co-locating in its space, Emagine has hired several Walsh interns and graduates. “It’s really amazing to see some of our graduates now coming to work at the same campus at which they attended classes,” Siegle said. “And, you’ll see Walsh College promotions and commercials at Emagine’s Michigan theater locations starting this month.
Anthony LaVerde, CEO of Emagine Entertainment said, “Emagine is excited to take advantage of the numerous synergies of co-locating its corporate offices on a dynamic campus environment. The competition for talent is at an all-time high, and this announcement is another example of our dedication to talent and innovation that will help propel our growth as one of the largest theatrical exhibitors in North America.”
What makes this partnership even more meaningful is the fact that Mr. Paul Glantz, co-founder and Chairman of Emagine, is a proud Walsh College alum. “As a Walsh College graduate, this move is truly like a homecoming to my alma mater. I immensely enjoyed my time at Walsh, and credit my education there as contributing to my professional success,” said Glantz.
