Christmas in Connecticut {1945}

Delightful holiday romcom from Hollywood’s Golden Age. Barbara Stanwyck shines as a famous homemaking and cooking expert who is asked by her publisher (Sidney Greenstreet) to host a naval war hero (Dennis Morgan) for Christmas. The fun begins when she must scramble to keep the secret that she’s single, can’t cook and doesn’t own a home! (“Where am I gonna get a farm? I haven’t even got a window box!”) Not rated.
