The upscale renovation of Emagine Lakeville is underway, and from the auditoriums to the expanded lobby, not a detail will be spared. The former Muller Family Theatre will now have leather power recliners, massive screens and stadium seating in each auditorium. In addition, Lakeville’s Monster Auditorium features a colossal wall-to-wall and floor-to ceiling screen, as well as a Dolby Atmos system that takes surround sound to a whole new level. The revamped lobby will include a full-service bar, a Coca-Cola Freestyle machine, and handmade concession options like stone-fired pizza and quesadillas.
To date, about half of the theatre’s auditoriums have been remodeled, with the remainder scheduled for completion by March. Plans for the lobby renovation are still under development and will move forward following approval by city officials. A grand opening celebration will be announced once all renovations are complete.
